Semaine de la Francophonie - Program
In honor of the official International Francophone Week (a celebration of the French language and Francophone cultures,) Fabulations is organizing a week-long fun-packed Theater Festival covering Portland's Five Quadrants! On the agenda: performances, open classes, story-times and more. All events are in French and most of them are family-friendly.

Saturday March 17th - Performance of Séraphine to kick off the week. Refreshments and chouquettes will be served following the show, thanks to the generous donation of our main donor Saint Honoré Bakery.
Start: 2:00 p.m.
Venue: Northwest Children's Theater and School (1819 NW Everett Street, Portland).
Individual ticket prices: $5 for children - $9 for adults.

Tuesday March 20th - Story-time in French / L'heure du conte at La Petite Provence Boulangerie et Patisserie
Start: 3:30 p.m, last an hour.
Venue: La Petite Provence of Division (4834 SE Division, Portland, OR 97206)
Cost: Free
Tuesday March 20th - Performances of La leçon de Lulu (Jane Fabulet-Roberts' one-woman show) & Bassinette.
Start : 6:30 p.m. & 8:00 p.m.
Venue: Brasserie Montmartre (626 SW Park Avenue, Portland)
Cost: Free. For restaurant & bar consumers only.
Friday March 23rd - French Creative Dramatics Open classes.
Start: 3:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. / 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Venue: L'Etoile French immersion School (5839 SW Hood Avenue, Portland)
Cost: Free
Saturday March 24th - Story-time in French: "Around the Globe to the French Speaking World!" / L'heure du conte: "Tour du Monde des pays francophones!" for the Alliance Française of Portland.
Start: 3:00 p.m.
Venue: The Historic Kamm House
Cost: $5 Alliance Française members; $9 non-members.

We are still looking for cafes or bakeries to host a French story-time during the mid-afternoon snack time ("l'heure du goûter.") If you are interested or know a business that would be interested in hosting us, please contact Carole at fabulations@gmail.com .
