Bonjour Monsieur Moustache!
An introduction to French Basics for Preschoolers
Monsieur Moustache is not an ordinary kitty. He came all the way from France to engage young children in fun activities and introduce them to the French language.
In this class, preschoolers:
- develop awareness of the French sounds through stories, rhymes and songs.
- practice memorization skills and learn new vocabulary with games and dances.
- enhance imagination skills through puppet play and make-believe activities.
- have fun!
“Bonjour Monsieur Moustache” is an eight session program. Each 45 min session is set around a specific theme and follows the same consistent pattern.
Handouts are available following each session as an extension of the class.

French the Fun Way
Learn French through Creative Dramatics
Specially designed with children in mind, this program is intended to introduce French to school age children in a fun, interactive way.
In this class, children will:
- discover the basics of French pronunciation through songs, stories and oral exercises.
- learn and use basic grammatical structures (asking questions, expressing likes and dislikes, etc.) through games and creative dramatics.
- memorize useful vocabulary with hands-on activities, songs and games.
"French the Fun Way" is an eight session program. Each 1-hour session is set around a specific theme and builds on previous acquisitions.

Creative dramatics
Act and speak in French
This program is for learners who wish to build on a previous French experience and develop oral confidence in any situation. Outgoing or reserved personalities alike will enjoy practicing French through theatre games and improvisations in a fun, laid-back atmosphere.
In this class, students:
- get acquainted with classical and contemporary French playwrights (from Molière and Marivaux to Renaude and Dubillard)
- explore grammar and vocabulary through texts and games
- develop pronunciation
- bring texts alive with discussions, writing, reading, and in class performances.
This program is available to elementary schools, middle schools and high schools that wish to integrate an alternative or complementary approach to French teaching in their curriculum of after-school program. Contact us for more information.
