Adult theater workshop
Jane Fabulet-Roberts, alumna of the International School of Theatre Jacques Lecoq, will be offering a special adult workshop on Sunday, May 20th. The theme will be “Du masque neutre au jeu de l’absurde” . French will be spoken. Places are limited, register now!
During the first part of the workshop, participants will have the unique opportunity to discover acting through Neutral Mask. They will be able to develop a better consciousness of their entire body. Studying Neutral mask is an amazing tool in order to make any action of the actor's body become more powerful. Through various physical exercises, participants will explore how to give any small action or movement more meaning.The second part of the workshop will give participants the opportunity to explore a few texts from the "Theatre of the Absurd" from E. Ionesco to R. Dubillard will be read and discussed. Guided improvisations will allow actors to reuse some of the discoveries made earlier.
French will be spoken!Comfortable attire is recommended.
Time : Four hours workshop. 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Prices: $50 // Under age 26 : $30
