Latest news - Tons of new classes for Winter term

Can you picture your child learning French while playing a tea party, hoping aboard the TGV or declaiming Moliere's "Mais que diable allait-il faire dans cette galère?" ("What the deuce did he want to go in that galley for?" - The Impostures of Scapin) ?

Carine Zimber will be leading a family class of Bonjour M. Moustache! at the East Portland Community Center (NE Portland) every Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. starting January 21. It is the perfect introduction to French for preschoolers!
 
At L'Etoile French immersion School (SW Portland), we now offer two Creative Dramatics classes! One for the 5-7 years old, on Fridays from 3:15 p.m. to 4 p.m. The other class will be for kids ages 8 to 10 years old and will take place every Fridays from 4 to 5 p.m. It is a full term commitment, starting Friday January 6th. 
Remember that children are not required to be enrolled at l'Etoile to attend those classes!

The French American International School (NW Portland) extend their French theater PM classes to any PS to 5th grades kids, FAIS' students or not.
A Petits comediens class for students PS-K will be held Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.
The Il etait une fois 3rd-5th grades' program combines a music class and a theater class. From the conception to the performance, children will have the opportunity to use their imagination, body, and voice to create a unique play. The two classes will first work separately on the project and meet for rehearsals toward the end of the term to prepare for the performance. Both will be held Wednesdays from 3:45-4:45 p.m.
Also, every Thursday from 3:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m, we will continue to offer our classic Improv and Performance class open to 1st and 2nd graders.
